Weekend Retreat at the Embassy Suites in Livonia, MI

November 11-13, 2022

Great news!  We are cropping at the Embassy Suites in Livonia this November 11-13, 2022 and I sure hope you will join us!!

Cost for the whole weekend is $190 and will feature:

  • One 6’ table per cropper.
  • Welcome Gift
  • Door prizes
  • Meals provided during the weekend: Lunch on both Saturday and Sunday as well as dinner on Saturday.

Costs for everything have risen dramatically!  While we can’t control the prices we pay for room rentals and meals, please know that we are committed to providing you with a quality experience that we hope you’ll find well worth your time and money.  We are working on some fun new additions for the weekend, including optional activities, learning experiences and more to enhance your weekend.

Good things to know

  • Our Group Room rates (The link to book your room will be on the confirmation page when you register and also in your confirmation email sent from your Advisor)
    • 2 Room Suite - 1 King Bed - Nonsmoking - $115.00
    • 2 Room Suite-2 Double Beds-nonsmoking - $141.00
    • For guests staying at the hotel, the Embassy Suites offers a Manager's reception of appetizers and drinks nightly as well as a complimentary breakfast.
  • We will not be providing snacks or coffee during the weekend, but each room at the hotel is a suite with a kitchenette, mini fridge, coffee maker and microwave. You can learn about the hotel by following this link, but please wait to book your room.  The link will be on your confirmation page after you register online.
  • Our event will be held in one large room.  Space is limited so this event will be capped at a max of 60 croppers.  We will not be as distanced as we were last November.  We are, as always, committed to keeping everyone safe BUT we also want you to take responsibility for your own health.  If you can't crop in close proximity to others then respectfully, we suggest passing on this event.

Seating is VERY limited for this event so if you'd like to attend please register asap.

Registration and payment will be done completely online and each cropper will need to register individually.

Mary, our QOTC

Cheryl & Mary

It is with very heavy hearts that we share that Mary, our Spring '19 Queen of the Crop, lost her battle with breast cancer in November.
Scrapbooking and memory keeping were very important for Mary and we thought that we could come together  to help Mary's family to continue to preserve their memories.

We will be donating an album and items to Brian (Mary's husband) so that he & their son, Austin can continue to preserve their memories.  A table will be in Kathy's room downstairs to collect pre-decorated pages and they can add photos at a later time.  Kathy discussed this idea with Brian and Cheryl (Mary's sister and cropping buddy.)  They are very touched by this act of kindness as they know how important scrapbooking and memory keeping was for Mary.

We hope you'll take some time out of your weekend to put a page or two together.  All themes are welcome - holiday, birthday, school pages, etc.   Austin is in second grade and will be making his first communion this year.
Rest in peace, Mary.  You are missed.
